Here’s a quick guide to help you upload your receipts correctly using the app:
Step 1: Start Receipt Scanning
- Open the receipt scanning feature
- Only snap receipts from supported retailers or stores. Please check the FAQ for the valid retailers in your country.
- Tap “Next” to continue.
Step 2: Choose Scanning Method
- Select between "Regular Receipt" or "Long Receipt Mode."
- Automatic shooting allows you to take a short shot that fits within the camera frame
- For Long Receipt mode, you can take up to 6 photos total
- Photograph the receipt from top to bottom in several shots according to its length
Step 3: Photograph the Receipt
- Position the receipt within the marked area on your screen
- The app will automatically capture when properly aligned
- Make sure all parts of the receipt are clearly captured
Step 4: Review and Process
- After photographing all parts of the receipt, press the "Next" button
- The system will process your images and extract receipt details
Step 5: Confirm Details
- Review the extracted information (total, date, retailer).
- Verify that all details are correct
- The system will show confirmation of receipt details, including total, date, and retailer, with checkmarks
Step 6: Final Submission
- After receiving confirmation of the receipt details from the system
- Press the "Finish and Send" button to complete the upload
- Tap "Done" to finish the process
Important Reminders:
- Make sure the entire receipt is visible, including the store name, address, date, and time.
- Items, prices, and totals must be clearly readable.
- Use Long Receipt Mode for extended receipts.
- You can upload up to 6 images from your gallery if needed.
